    Skype is the most widely used video chat software in the world and can be installed free; therefore the best tool for students and teachers for the class. In mobile LTE and above-level device, sound quality and video will be fine. There will be no cost within Skype communication; however data usage will do. From mobile device, it would be better to use WiFi to minimize data charge. Depends on the speed of net or WiFi, sound quality and video quality may be affected. If Skype is not in your computer, download and install from our website.

    If you prefer other software like Zoom or WeChat other than Skype, you can also use it in consultation with your teacher.

  2. What should be prudent in using the video chat software like Skype?

    In order to work on voice and video for a video-based class, a desktop computer or mobile device should have a good connection. Make sure to see before class. A simple diagnosis can be done by watching a running Youtube or Weibo. If not, take assistance from others. It's instructive to find a quiet place with a headset or earphone ready with a stable network connection.

    The software that supports screen sharing is recommended. You and your teacher can see textbooks on the device together.
  5. What happens if I can't see a teacher's face or textbook?

    Ensure that video chat software is set properly. If each other's face is not properly viewed; Then the problem should be speed. Moving to a place with a stable connection or rescheduling the class can be a solution.
  6. Do I need a video camera on my computer?

    Having a camera on a computer for video class is instructive. Communication will be less effective on voice-only, especially in pronunciation correction on language education. Mobile or laptop devices basically come with a camera that allows them to be used. For desktop, a video camera is recommended.
  7. What are the benefits if I invite my friends to EL KOREAN and how many of my friends can I invite?

    It would be better to learn Korean with your friends. You're going to get a bonus point for that. If your invited friends pay tuition, 5 percent of the paid amount which is used for tuition will be given to you as a bonus point continuously. If your invited friends complete your ID (email address) on the registration form, 5 percent of the initial paid tuition will be credited to your friends. There is no limit on the number of invited friends.
  8. Am I eligible to become a Korean language teacher?

    We've been looking for talented Korean teachers. Korean teaching license and experience are not compulsory. You don't even have to be a Korean national.
